Triathlon to test new sports city for SEA Games

Tarlac, Philippines, August 12, 2019: The New Clark City sports complex 100km north of Manila is geared up for a triathlon race slated from October 19-20.

At least 700 participants are expected at the New Clark City Triathlon 2019 to test the country’s new sports facilities before the upcoming 30th South East Asian (SEA) Games from November 30-December 11.

Malaysia NOC welcomes SEA Games delegation from Philippines

Nepal targets 5-6 judo golds at South Asian Games

Kathmandu, Nepal, August 11, 2019: Nepal has targeted six gold medals in judo at the 13th South Asian Games which the country will host from December 1-10.

“We are expecting five to six gold medals this time,” said Birendra Ranjit, head coach of the national judo team, referring to Nepal’s two gold medals in the South Asian Judo Championships in Kathmandu last year.

OCA: Youth camp has built new skateboarding community in Asia

Nanjing, China, August 9, 2019: The Olympic Council of Asia’s Skateboarding Youth Camp came to a close on Friday at the Longjiang Sports School in Nanjing, China.

Oman fencing to become member of world body

Uzbek stars receive financial boost for Tokyo 2020 qualification

Tashkent, Uzbekistan, August 7, 2019: Three Uzbekistan athletes have been given financial rewards from the government for qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

World Taekwondo opens regional training centre in Nepal

Lalitpur, Nepal, August 6, 2019: The Nepal Taekwondo Association headquarters in Lalitpur has received official recognition as a regional training centre from World Taekwondo.

OCA youth camp provides competition environment for athletes

Nanjing, China, August 8, 2019: Participants at the OCA skateboarding youth camp in Nanjing, China received a taste of competition atmosphere at the Longjiang sports school on Thursday.
